Australian visa for partners: A new life together

You and your partner have decided to take the next step in your relationship and plan to marry and build your future together in Australia.
While the excitement of planning your life together grows, navigating the visa process can feel overwhelming. With our experience in Australian partner visas, we can help you meet the requirements and guide you toward a smooth and successful outcome.

    To be eligible:

You must be in a committed relationship with an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen, and genuinely intend to marry within the visa’s validity period, which is 9 months. You must also demonstrate that your relationship is genuine and ongoing.
This visa must be lodged when the applicant is outside Australia.
Once granted, the Prospective Marriage Visa allows you to travel to Australia, get married (the marriage can be in or outside Australia), and then apply for the Subclass 820/801 Partner Visa onshore, within the 9-month validity period of the Subclass 300, to continue your path to permanent residency.

How The Prospective Marriage Visa Works In Australia?

You must be able to legally marry according to Australian law, and you must be outside Australia at the time of application and decision.
